OK, Phillip Island is just around the corner now...will be there with my long-suffering 350 McIntosh TZ, plus the usual container-load of other Kiwi bikes - several first timers too, some on 350's.

Safe option, from the late John Robinson's book 'Motorcycle Tuning - Two Stroke' is:

0.6pints/hp/hour,

which would work out at:

360ml/hp/hour, or 450ml/min for 75 hp

This would be enough to make...

Hinto's probably right- in that there must be a reason that the long 38 bodies were used by Yamaha, though it's not obvious to us, even with the impartial dyno data.

Shortening the bodies is a...

Are you talking bigger bore in a 350 (usual route is 66.4mm, giving 373cc, same as a 750 cylinder) or a TZ with more than 2 cylinders?

The 500's, 700's and 750's are out there. I do know a good...

Yeah - after last year, if things didn't change, I wouldn't consider going back, much as I enjoy the event. Too few laps for too much cost and effort, unless your name was on the advertising.
