Rod Slotting

I have a service manual here for the F-G models and the specs say
21kgs/cm2, thats fair close to 300lbs/in2, I would think the earlier C-E shocks are the same except for the aluminium...

We've been down that road in the 70s with Peter & Tony's 250s, it didn't make 1 iota of difference with the lighter cranks, as for 350s it would not be advisable as taking metal out of the crank...

It wont work, they are slightly different in the crankpin positioning, we converted some 250-350 crank wheels to 750 spec and when we tried to ignition time it it wouldn't work.

Its pretty hard to see if the bush is worn, but my guess is that by running in magnesium its a good bet that the primary case is the culprit
