Does anyone have an email address for Peter Addison (in Australia)? I need to contact him about his TZ Questionnaire. Cheers, Greg

Would it be about this bike?:
![]() ![]() These are photos from the PCRA round at Eastern Creek the other week. Nicely restored Spondon framed TZ250K. This bike was an Australian Championship front runner up to the mid 80s. |

Yes I thought it was Lech, but now after seeing the photos its his other K model I need clarification on. Unless he filled the questionnaire in twice for the same bike or something! Greg

Only 2 K models came to Australia, and the other one was mine. So I am not sure about an other one. Addo did run an L model for Scotty in "84.
Seeing those pics make me wish I had kept mine. |

Hi Peter,
Is that Peter Addison on the left of the top photo? (The guy talking to him is Lindsay from the PCRA). When I saw that bike and took the photos, I knew nothing of it. It has an interesting history. Here is an Alan Puckett painting, maybe not the same bike: ![]() Alan Puckett was the artist who also did the famous nude on that cranky blokes TZ250. |

You should be able to contact Peter through the Old Bike Australasia mag, he's been doing tests for them for awhile and the Richard Scott Spondon 250 (drool drool) came up recently as well...
![]() You can email the editor, Jim Scaysbrook at scaysbrook34@bigpond.com , I'm sure he won't mind putting you in touch. Last edited by GD66 : 07-16-2010 at 08:19 AM. |

Hi Lech,
Hard to tell, but yes, it could be Peter Addison. The bike was always well prepared and immaculately presented. Spondon chassis and triple clamps, Hans Hummel cylinders, Astralite wheels. Warren Willing oversaw all the work and was present at every meeting. The combination worked very well, however I think that Scotty would have been equally competitive on an "out of the box" stocker. He could ride a bit. Beating those guys was a daunting task for a young fella with his first brand new bike. Fun times and great memories. |
