I use the stock rotor. I have tried lightened rotors in the past, but they all cracked. I didn't notice any difference in engine performance with the lighter rotor.
The stock rotor does pull the crank wheels apart on the ignition side. Luckily, the crank wheels don't twist out of alignment at the same time, for some wierd reason. You need to check the crank every year or two and press it back in if required.

Thanks for that Lech, I'll certainly keep an eye on it. Fingers crossed that's the only thing I have to worry about and do to the crank once a year, although I'm not holding my breath.
