I have send you screw, washers, nuts to do a best fitting.May Greg can post pictures of these parts and show the fitting. You can adjust the timing to 4 mm BTDC.Red CDI boxes have a different ignition curve.

A bientôt Jean-Paul

Tell us Jean Paul, what is the difference between the black and the red boxes.
Also digressing a bit , have you noticed how the clutch cable never sits in the sidecase properly no matter what side of the rear fairing bracket you put it.

here are pics of my system-but as i said before black coils but red cdi boxes--
and the setting instructions---3.2mm btdc for the red cdi boxes no; 068068 of which mine are.
apart from the black coils my system looks identical to the one pictured at the top of the origional post
Derek
ps: could anyone tell which pick up on the stator is for the left cylinder and which is the right cylinder--one has a red coated wire coming from it---this way i can set it up right first time--
Thanks

5. Connect the CDI:
► the 3 pole connector from the first coil from the stator to a CDI-unit
► the orange cable from this CDI-unit to a HT-coil – the HT-coil must be connected to the frame
for mass – and this HT-coil to cylinder one
► the black/white cable to the on/off switch
► connect the other coil from the stator accordingly

REMARKS:
► to gain performance, you can try to vary between the 2 to 4 mm setting.
