Default 1984 L Model

I am looking for the L model TZ Yamaha that I owned in 1984.
It was ridden in the Australian Championships by Richard Scott under Toshiba Yamaha Dealer Team sponsorship.
Please contact if you have any information on this bike.

I don't know about the L model, but are you looking for the bike after this one?

Yes, that is my 1983 bike and I am keen to find the 1984 model to restore.

Lynton Keck had an L model, but he always maintained it was Jeff Sayles bike, I don't think that there were too many L models brought out here.
BTW Jeff Sayle is recovering from a slight heart attack a couple of weeks ago, I'm sure all of our members wish him a speedy recovery, hopefully he'll give up the smokes now.

Rob, Do you know if Lynton still has the L model ?

McCulloch's only brought in three in 1984 I believe, however some others were imported privately.

Sadly, Lynton passed away a few years ago

Not sure what happened to his bikes, although I think Marcus de Caux was involved with helping sort them out for disposal.
