Try Jean Paul Mestre, if you can track him down the service is pretty good

Slow?

Jean-Paul usually works on a swap basis. Send him a head that okay to use and he picks one off the shelf, already done and puts your's in the pile for repair.

well I cant comment on his head service turnaround but I paid for a crank on the 9th of may and I still dont know if it is made or where it is
I would call that poor service and I am sure most people would agree that I
should have heard something by now .

Bonjour a tous

Yes I am very slow and at today I am not able to make inserts for heads as I am too busy on the Kawasaki KR , about the crank , I have sent two yesterday to Australia , I do not know if there is one for you as I do not know your name and I do not think you have send me a mail , I have never asked you a paiement , I never ask the paiement before sending the parts, I trust in everybody and I have no problems .

A bientôt Jean-Paul MESTRE

Jean-Paul

How soon will you be able to send me some more inserts (just the inserts as we have the heads already as you know) to replaced some damaged ones please? We're going to need them before we can reassemble two motors down here for a meeting in the near future.

Hope you are well again?

Alistair

J.Paul I have no wish to offend anyone
But I ordered the Crank straight after the B.Sheene meeting in April and paid
as stated on 9.5.12 and until your reply I had no idea where the crank
was it appears a lack of communication caused the problem .

I was hoping to avoid all this, this here is the story.
Steve Kairl & John Lawson ordered a crank each from JPM via me, I talked them both into buying JPMs cranks over Titan cranks because I believe that his cranks are better, and of JPMs contribution to classic racing, we have done business many times before and not had any problem.
As John stated both monies were paid to me at around about 12/5/12 and I immediately sent the money to JPM in full for the cranks, Steve Kairl also wanted a cylinder head made also and a head wad sent over for that purpose.
On the 6/6/12 I received an email from JPM asking for the addresses of John & Steve to send the cranks, he also said he was under the pump as Rijeka ICGP was coming up and he had not got any of his KRs ready yet, so I told him to fix the KRs 1st then do the cranks, as racing is the biggest part of his business and reputation.
At around 4/7/12 I got an email from John Lawson asking for an update on the cranks, that night I sent an email to JPM asking for the same update, I did not receive a reply, again on the 12/7/12 I sent another email to JPM asking please for an update as John was getting quite aggravated, to this moment I have not had any emails from JPM answering my inquiries.
I find out today via this website that the cranks were sent yesterday, so now I guess I know as much as anybody.
In defence of JPM there was another ICGP meeting at Brands Hatch last week and I suppose that would have put him back a bit.
