Default How to remove exhaust valves

Have 1986 TZ250S but no manual. My other TZ's did not have exhaust valves. How do you remove the exhaust valves to allow the barrels to be removed ?
Any help much appreciated.
Thanks

Hi - this just reminded me about your lack of a manual - I do have a photocopied owner's service manual (1RK) - but no way of copying it (just don't have time to be scanning it (50 double sided pages) - but I'd be worried about letting it out of my sight...if I can find somewhere local I could get it copied....
